World Harvest College of Christian Ministry and Leadership, Nigeria is committed to the true and living God and the philosophy that all truth comes from God through His Word. The College seeks to educate students with a personal and dynamic commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ that they may be grounded in Biblical truths through the concentrated programs in the College. The College's curriculum will focus on the unique life and work of our Lord Jesus Christ who came to this world to reveal the infallible Word of God to the entire world. Through these programs the student will sense the world's spiritual needs and urgency of spreading the Gospel while gaining an ability through free inquiry to understand God's desire for his life in the pursuit of God's truth.
ACADEMIC:
The College will assist the faculty in teaching and the student in developing foundational principles of Christian life essential for spiritual maturity. Through scholarship and a quest for knowledge the student will investigate various avenues from which effective methods of study can be formulated. This study will assist the student in designing a model for the cultivation of devotional and spiritual habits and the articulation of information which will lead to spiritual maturity and leadership in the world and in the church.
SPIRITUAL:
The College seeks to assist the student in establishing Christian character and standards in attitude, conduct and ministry. As the student grows in a life of discipleship to Jesus Christ, they will be assisted in developing a more mature prayer and devotional life leading to a sincere commitment to God, the church and to country.
CIVIC:
The College also seeks to assist the student in understanding the truth regarding their relationship with God and country. The student will understand the Biblical principle that a Christian is to be a loyal and effective citizen. The student will be encouraged to understand the development of their culture and the Christian obligations of a citizen in this culture.
CULTURAL:
The College seeks also to assist the student in identifying the evidences of change in the dynamic culture in which we live. As the student draws nearer to God they will learn to appreciate the beauty and love revealed by God's revelation through music, the arts and nature.
SOCIAL:
The College seeks to assist the student in the understanding of where the Christian fits into society and the relationship the church has with society. The student must understand the need for unity in the Body of Christ even when lifestyles and philosophies are in conflict with one's beliefs. The student will see the need to become involved in ministries to help a dying and destitute world meet its spiritual and physical needs.
VOCATIONAL:
The College seeks to assist each student in establishing a vocational ministry which will be professional, loving, competent and effective. Vocational preparation is a foundation upon which growth takes place. World Harvest College of Christian Ministry and Leadership, Nigeria seeks to assist the student in reaching the highest potential to which that student may aspire.
THEOLOGICAL:
The College will assist the student in matching the God-given, personal opportunities with God-given potential so they might become a more effective Christian. The student will utilize knowledge gained to formulate a Biblical philosophy of life, continue in intellectual and spiritual growth and clearly communicate the Biblical message to others. The student will be equipped to carry out the Great Commission to “go into the entire world and preach the Gospel to all creatures.”
